This dish is 9″ x 3-1/16″ and is turned from Mesquite wood from south Texas area. Mesquite grows in the southwestern & western USA. The tree grows predominately in very warm (desert) areas and reaches up to 50 feet in height. The wood is easy to turn and is generally found in small sizes, although often it is found with worm holes & other voids. Regardless of condition it is listed as the most stable of all woods in the world & once turned every piece has its own beauty. Finished with Myland’s Sand & Sealer, Yorkshire Grit & Hampshire Sheen.
